A dog of great substance; outstanding headpiece, with good lip, well defined stop, proper ear set; good neck length. Broad, deep chest; good front angulation and straight legs. Level topline, good croup, hips and rear angulation. Though he seems to cow in hocks (have not been able to confirm it one way or the other). Inbred on Maik von Harlekin and extremely tightly line bred (inbred) on King von Stadt Harmburg.

The inbreeding experiment on King von der Stadt Hamburg in the Harlekin kennel and some of the lines developed from it, were only sometime successful. Though there is no evidence of the success in Odins background, many of the siblings and offspring of dogs in this pedigree proved to be very successful in producing winning offspring. Odin himself included in this success, though the competition of his day proved to be over his head, his offspring met with better circumstances. His linebred descendents also proved to be far above the mark in the show ring.
